Pop Culture

What is 'Pop Culture'?
First of all the word 'Pop' comes from the word 'Popular'.
It is basically a collection of ideas, phenomena, images that are widely accepted in society.
Pop culture can include many things such as language, fashion, entertainment, literature and many more.
It is also heavily influenced by media since media collected trend and social images.
Media is part of pop culture because media is a source for people to keep up with the pop culture
and its' trends.

Ted Nelson & Doug Englebart

An important and famous figure in the world of technology, Ted Nelson is the one who established a project called the "Xanadu" in 1967. This project was ignored at first by people since he didn't completely explain his project well to others. It seems like Xanadu enabled world-wide networks to store information as files seperately.

Doug Engelbart was another person who I personally think is an important figure in our computing world. He was responsible for the invention of mouses of computers. Through researching his background, Engelbart believed that questions can be answered through development of computers.
